It blooms in clusters of tubular, red-orange, pink, yellow and many more color flowers that are about 2 inches in length in the late summer, fall and winter. Cape honeysuckle grows rapidly and can reach up to 30 feet in ideal conditions.
Tecoma (Shrub, Orange) – Plant
It’s no mistake this plant was given a “jubilant” name. You’ll think you were invited to a joyous celebration as you watch this large, fast-growing shrub claim its spot in the garden. With lush green foliage and flashy orange flowers blooming most of the year, it looks like the party is always on.
Better yet, it does best if left to grow in spots with full or reflected sun. It lives lightly on the land, only needing small amounts of water to thrive, and attracts beautiful hummingbirds. Orange Jubilee is also known as Orange Bells, Orange Trumpet Bush or Orange Esperanza.
2. Tecoma (Shrub, Red) – Plant
Tecoma Red or ‘Bells of Fire’ with red-orange blooms throughout the hottest summer months.
This was the first red-flowering Tecoma to hit the market, and is still the most compact red-flowering hybrid available, growing to only about 3-5 feet tall and wide.
Tecoma, Godi-chodi (Yellow) – Plant
it’s early flowering, heat tolerance, vigor, and pest resistance. The flowers are bright yellow in color, 2 inches long with trumpet shape and hang in showy clusters at the branch tips and forks, bending the twigs into arches with their weight, hence the name Yellow Bells
