Kale Tuscan Vegetable Seeds

Raise in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix or sow direct where they are to grow. Cover with mix, firm down and keep moist. Transplant after 4-6 weeks.

Care

Grow in sun or semi-shade. Enrich soil with organic fertiliser (such as Yates Blood & Bone or Dynamic Lifter) before planting. Feed plants regularly with Yates Thrive Soluble Plant food. Continuous harvest promotes new growth. Protect plants from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.

Hint

Leaves will be darker when temperatures are cooler. Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Prior to planting, work in Yates Blood & Bone. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food every 2-3 weeks for rapid, vigorous growth. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem. Control leaf-eating grubs with a Yates caterpillar killer (Success or Dipel) or a Yates Vegetable Dust (Derris).  

Storage

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
