Native to the semi-deserts of Central America, Mexico, and north-western South America, this is one of the large genus of flowering plants in the Crassulaceae family.
Echeveria runyonii bears grey-green, fleshy, long, brightly colored leaves that grow outward and curl back towards the stemless rosette. These plants bloom beautiful flowers of bright orange and yellow, and it rises above the foliage.
The plant reaches the height of 5-8 inches and this particular species is polycarpic – meaning it may flower and set seed many times throughout its lifetimes.
