Description
‘Figaro’ is a dwarf “landscape” dahlia with semi-double flowers in shades of red, pink, orange, yellow, and white. It works well as bedding and in containers, and blooms from planting time until frost.
CareProvide full sun and well-drained soil. In the South, some shade is preferred. Deadhead regularly. To overwinter tubers, dig them up after the first frost, clean them, and allow them to dry. Store in slightly moisted sand, peat, or sawdust and store in a cool but frost-free place.
PropagationDivide in spring by using a sharp knife to sever tubers, ensuring that each division has at least one eye.
